determines final product. Use 930yds (1700yds) lace weight for 32" sq
scarf (52" sq shawl) knitted to gauge of 5 sts/in on US 6; 1100 yds
Shetland or sport wt for 52" sq shawl knitted to gauge of 4 sts/in on US 9;
1350 yds worsted wt for 60" sq throw knitted to gauge of 3 sts/in on US 10
