Designer Amelia Carlson used her grandmother's tea cosy ( shown in the center of the photo) as inspiration for her design. The firmly knit ruffles create a thick, thermal effect to keep tea hotter, longer. The pattern is sized to fit 2-6 cup tea pots and uses 275-375 yds of DK weight yarn.
