Spirit of the Southwest Shawl is another wonderful shawl design by Evelyn Clark. The shawl's motifs depict squash blossoms, mountains, butterflies, corn and rabbits, all typical of the southwestern landscape. The triangular shawl is knit from the top to the point. The sides feature a lacy edging and the neck edge is finished with I-cord. The shawl is knit with lace weight yarn and takes about 1200 yds. The pictured shawl is show in Zephyr.
